  • SAA Recovery Hiking Group's aim is to enable members to:
    • have a safe and encouraging place to enjoy the beautiful nature of BC.
    • have a chance to get to know one another outside the regular meetings. One of the founder of SAA states: "My learning over the years is that groups that spent weekends together did very well. I have heard this from members in other parts of the country as well. The group has to have a life outside of its regular meeting time." (SAA Green Book, pg109) There will be fun times, and sometimes, we will surely be driving each other off the wall, but we are going to try.
